I’ve such little time to
Do the things that I’ve
Always wanted to do,
To say the things that
I never got to say, to
Go to the places that
I’ve not yet traveled to.
I’ve such little time for
Sleep; though dreams
Are a portal to sneak
Through the doors that
Are locked when we’re
Awake. Lo, while asleep
We die a little loosing a
Bit more than we take.
However, it’s necessary
To break the locks that
Keep us enslaved from
Finding a more elevated
Ethereal way on through
Past the elastic chasm
Of our feigning youth.
