Trigger Warning
Taking its name from Francis Ponge’s classic 1942 book of prose poetry that takes an intimate look at the inner lives and depths of objects, this conversational tour will consider the sculptures, drawings, installations, and videos of Jason de Haan and Anton Vidokle as starting points for broader metaphysical and fantastical questions. We will consider the individual works as the tip of a conceptual iceberg and as a series of propositions on the subtle gestures that link humankind with the vastness of the natural world. Registration recommended.
