Don't miss out on this opportunity to share in the final creation installation before the work moves to premiers at Harbourfront in Toronto and Silo City in Buffalo. The Apology Project, produced by lbs/sq" performance, is a collision of performance, visual and media art examining the nature of falling, its shame and oppression, the individual body or collective nation, through a contemporary lens of inclusivity. In a time when individuals and nations seem in a struggle to agree on what they collectively cherish these distinctive artists feel it vital to research and challenge classical western contexts of art creation, performance and curation. Multiple disciplines establish a dialogue that challenge division. This bi-national collaboration has developed into a duet with Gerry Trentham and Kevin Ormsby within the landscape of Colvin-Woodruff extraordinary art and projections of excepts from Valerie Buhagiar's remarkable films. The work – ironic, real and challenging – is a meditation on the deep questions of the nature of an apology that can change a community.
