Trigger Warning
Literary Heist is accepting articles for the next edition to be published December 21, 2017. While we’ll consider any article that has to do with literature or art, the hope is to get something unique and interesting, a gem. Is there a unique book that needs to be reviewed or an interesting actor whose words really resonate with people? If we can find those people, those books, and those things to write about, I’m certain it would be of great interest to everyone.
Past articles that we’ve published include:
-
North and Central – Book Review (This story feels honest and real. Its natural and realistic arc will pull you in, and it will get more gritty and more desperate.)
-
Who Owns the Dropper Owns the Fix (The following feature is an opinion piece on one of modern literature’s most experimental and controversial of writers, William Burroughs.)
-
The Power of Fiction on Real Life (Issues with which we writers should concern ourselves when creating fictional characters.)
-
The Mandir: A Splendid Light (A visit of the Mandrid to the Hindu temple in Toronto, Ontario.)
-
Some People Deserve to Die – Book Review (Have you ever made the easy decision, rather than the right decision, and it ended up ruining your life)
-
Germany Today Faces Its Dark Past (Germany today is facing its dark Nazi and Communist past with memorials to the horrendous deeds perpetrated by the Fascists.)
-
Water is life (Ogibway women around the world sing to water. They give thanks to water in prayers in ceremonies.)
