Trigger Warning
As the fires of the conquered city still burn, the Grecian victors of the Trojan War sit and wait to be entertained. At the end of the evening, they will be able to bid for the widowed and wounded female survivors gracing the stage. The women will be transported to Greece to become wives, concubines and slaves. Will they accept their lot? Or do the Women of Troy have other plans for themselves? FALLEN, based on the characters from Euripidess THE TROJAN WOMEN, gives a voice to these downtrodden figures and finally lets them tell their own stories. FALLEN, a new play from THERESA OHANIAN, continues the authors pattern of revising classic stories to tell them through the lens of Feminism and allowing the often silenced female characters a voice within them. THERESA OHANIAN is an American Theatre Creator and Director. She is an MFA Candidate at YORK UNIVERSITY in Creation, Acting and Directing.
