All that Glitters!
July 29, 2017 (9am-4pm) This workshop will focus on the beautiful play of light and color on glass, metallic and shiny surfaces using oil, watercolor, pastel or charcoal. Cynthia, who is widely known for her colorful and meticulous paintings of glass reflections, will discuss and demonstrate how to capture these qualities on your canvas. Students will work from still-life set-ups that make use of glass, metal and colorful patterned fabric to see and portray the intriguing light and reflections they see. Cynthia will demonstrate in the beginning of the workshop, then students will work from the set-ups for their own paintings. Good drawing skills are strongly recommended for the best results in this workshop. Visit website
