Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and Phoenix Sister Cities, Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and enhancing global connections in business and youth exchange is hosting the 4th Annual Mayor’s International Gala on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix, 340 N. Third St. Reception will be held from 6 – 7 p.m. with dinner following from 7 – 9 p.m. Mayor Stanton will present the 2017 Global Citizen Award during the event. This year’s event celebrates Taipei, Taiwan and honors its 37-year history as a Sister City to Phoenix. The event will feature delicious cuisine of Taiwan and festive Asian cultural entertainment by Arizona Art Academy. Heidi Foglesong is the emcee for this incredible evening of culture, diversity and warmth.
