Marc de Faoite is a reader, writer, and editor. Born in Dublin, he is based in Langkawi and has lived in Malaysia fulltime since 2007. His short stories, book reviews and articles have been published both locally and internationally, in print and online. His short story collection Tropical Madness was longlisted for the 2014 Frank O’Connor International Short Story Prize. He was runner up for the The D.K. Dutt Award for Literary Excellence in both 2015 and 2016 and runner up for the inaugural Fay Khoo Award for Food and Drink Writing in 2016.
